ABOUT
I am a Vietnamese American teacher, community organizer, scholar-activist, daughter of refugees, sister, partner, and friend. Born and raised in Little Saigon, Orange County, I am incredibly grateful for the communities who have raised me, held me, and loved me.
I am a proud former history teacher of East San Jose in the Bay. Now, I support curriculum development and teacher professional learning. I am passionate about supporting humanizing, sustaining, and community-rooted pedagogies, curriculum and instruction.
My research interests include refugee narratives, collective memory, community organizing and action, healing justice, and notions of belonging.
